This is Pearl, an amelanistic (albino) checkered garter snake. Born about Oct. or Nov. '06, Pearl has been an exciting and rewarding pet. Pearl loves worms, fish and small mice and has grown considerably faster than her male sibling, Earl (inset).
In '09 she and Earl produced 24 babies in two clutches.
